Chair lift Trafoi
Take the Trafoi chairlift to the starting point of numerous adventures for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers in the alpine surroundings of the Stelvio Pass in South Tyrol.
General description
The Trafoi chairlift takes you from Trafoi to the Furkelhütte in just a few minutes. The hut's cozy sun terrace and the magnificent view of the heavily glaciated Ortler massif captivate nature lovers. The hut is a popular starting point for hikers, mountaineers and mountain bikers, who will find plenty to do in the alpine surroundings of the Stelvio Pass in South Tyrol.
Description to arrive at destination
From Spondinig via the road SS 38 to Trafoi.
Parking
The parking lot is located directly at the valley station of the chairlift. You can also park at the public parking lot in the center of Trafoi located on the right approx. 200m before the chairlift.
Public transport
Those who do not wish to travel to Trafoi by private car have the option of using public transport. The bus line 271 takes you to Stilfs and then the bus line 270 takes you to Trafoi. The bus stop is at the Hotel Post, from there it is a 5-minute walk to the chairlift.
