Silence, nature & untouched winter landscapes

While snowshoeing in the Schnalstal Valley, winter sports enthusiasts enjoy the peace of the snow-covered mountains and escape the stresses of everyday life step by step. Many routes run below the tree line along the valley floor – ideal for beginners and leisurely hikers. Snowshoes make the ascent through forests and gentle ridges effortless. The Schnalstal Tourism Cooperative offers guided tours with certified mountain and ski guides.

On the groomed winter hiking trails, visitors experience a nature-oriented alternative to the ski slopes. The paths lead through quiet forests, across sunny meadows and past centuries-old mountain farms. Winter hiking is suitable for the whole family – regardless of age or fitness level. Many trails end at cosy alpine huts, where some even offer a warm cup of tea.
