From pizzerias to gourmet dining
The restaurants in Schnalstal serve both South Tyrolean specialties such as dumpling soup, venison goulash and Kaiserschmarrn, as well as refined Mediterranean and international creations. Several alpine huts in Schnalstal have been awarded the “Quality on the Mountain” seal, including Rableid Alm in Pfossental, Finailhof in Vernagt and Schöne Aussicht mountain hut in Kurzras.
One restaurant in Schnalstal has even earned a toque: since 2014, Oberraindlhof has been awarded annually by the Gault & Millau restaurant guide and is also part of the "South Tyrolean Gasthaus” group.
