General Information and Terms & Conditions

  • The Schnalstal Ski School reserves the right to make changes to the programme or prices.
  • The Schnalstal Ski School office is open from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. During the Christmas and Carnival holiday periods, the office is open continuously from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
  • Ski passes and equipment are not included in the course prices.
  • All equipment is available from “Sportservice Erwin Stricker” ski rental. First confirm your ski course/private lessons at the Schnalstal Ski School office and then take the voucher you receive there to the ski service next door to benefit from the discounted rates.
  • During holiday periods, we also organise weekend courses. For further information, please contact the Schnalstal Ski School office by phone or email.
  • All courses and private lessons must be paid for before lessons begin.
  • Private lessons can be booked from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, as well as from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the beginners’ area. A private lesson always lasts 55 minutes.
  • The Schnalstal Ski & Snowboard School accepts no liability for accidents occurring before, during or after lessons.
  • We recommend that our guests take out accident insurance.

Cancellations & Refunds

When and how can I get a refund?

Refunds for group courses

  • Courses not attended will not be refunded.
  • Group courses (or any difference in fees) will only be refunded upon presentation of a medical certificate issued by a local doctor. The ski school retains 10% of the amount to cover administrative expenses, with a minimum deduction of €10.00. Alternatively, a credit voucher may be issued. The credit voucher is valid for one additional season.
  • Lessons cancelled due to weather conditions (force majeure) will neither be rescheduled nor refunded.

Refunds for private lessons

  • Private lessons not attended will not be refunded.
  • Private lessons will also take place in bad weather, provided that at least one lift in the ski area is operating, and will therefore not be refunded.
  • If, due to bad weather, no lifts are operating anywhere in the Schnalstal ski area, private lessons scheduled for that day will be rescheduled where possible or a credit voucher will be issued. The credit voucher is valid for one additional season.
