High up through the back end of the Val Martello with its mountain hut catering to hikers and fans of mountain walking. Up here, time stands still and thanks to the pure air even the dumplings taste better. At an altitude of 2,165 meters even such matters tend to gain in importance.

The sun-kissed Alpine pastures of Tarres and Laces, situated on the Monte Tramontana and the picturesque Soy mountain pasture located at an even higher altitude lead up to the Martello shelter and the Zufallhütte mountain hut. Relaxing breaks at heights of 3,000 m with panoramic views are an opportunity for stopovers, with mouth-watering meals served to hikers from mid-June till mid-September during their treks to the top.
