San Martino - Egg- Forra

This fascinating hike starts in St. Martin im Kofel, one of the highest mountain villages in South Tyrol, which can be reached comfortably and spectacularly by cable car. Along the way, the trail leads past historic mountain farms – some still inhabited today, others long abandoned – which serve as an impressive testament to the extreme struggle for survival in times past on the Vinschgau Sonnenberg. The tour seamlessly combines breathtaking panoramic views with a deep, almost mystical insight into the alpine cultural history of these sun-drenched slopes.
