The varied landscape around Laces
at the entrance to the Stelvio National Park

The scenic Martello Valley trail skirts the remnants of the once magnificent Hotel Paradiso on the Cevedale, designed by the celebrated 20th century Italian architect, the late Gio Ponti.
Hikers can follow the Peder Valley circular path
, from the Enzian mountain shelter to the Pederköpfl (2,585 m). Another circular path worth experiencing is the "Haus der Natur", which starts at the ‘Culturamartell’ Visitor’s Centre
in the Stelvio National Park.
Easy hikes in the Martello valley lead to the Lyfi mountain pasture (2,164 m) and to the renowned Zufallhütte mountain hut (2,265 m). The impressive Martello High Mountain Trail
leads the Martello mountain shelter, which may also be reached from Stallwies.
