Feast day of the Beetroot in Cengles

The Tschengls Young Farmers’ Association warmly invites you to the traditional “Rohnenkirchtag” festival, celebrating the Nativity of Mary. Look forward to a festive day filled with local traditions, live music, delicious food and entertainment for the whole family.

The celebrations begin at 8.30 a.m. with Holy Mass, followed by a procession. From 10.00 a.m., the Obervinschger Böhmische brass ensemble will provide traditional live music during the morning get-together.

From 11.30 a.m., guests can enjoy traditional mutton with beetroot salad, along with a variety of other delicious specialities. In the afternoon, there will also be a children’s play area, coffee and homemade cakes.

At 2.30 p.m., the Tschengls/Cengles Music Band will perform a concert. From 6.30 p.m., Thomi and Luki will provide entertainment, while “Die jungen Pseirer” will get everyone dancing with live music from 6.30 to 9.30 p.m.

Later in the evening, the celebrations continue with DJ TonJack and disco sounds.
