It's quiet here. Idyllic, some would say. You will look in vain for hustle and bustle in the alleys of the South Tyrolean town. People like it cozy here. Nevertheless, the Burgeisen are not from yesterday. On the contrary. You appreciate the past and like innovations. This applies in particular to the Weisses Kreuz. It all started back in 1871 with the village shop. Over the decades, the Weisses Kreuz has developed into what it is today. With foresight, courage and entrepreneurial spirit. Nonetheless, the gigantic nature of the Alpine tourism strongholds never caught on. After all, if you can offer your guests something authentic, you don't need staging. Three houses, one vision The Weisses Kreuz consists of three independent buildings, connected by the small village square. The parent company gave its name to today's hotel. Nobody knows exactly how long this building has been standing here. Another gateway to the past opens just a few steps away. The Ansitz zum Löwen is a place where the architecturally inclined heart pauses for a beat. Here, modern exposed concrete nestles against 800-year-old walls. Accurately placed glass surfaces form a symbiosis with fine carvings from the Renaissance. Together with the South Tyrolean architect duo Marx/Ladurner, the residence was gently awakened from its slumber. And since all good things always come in threes, the modern new building is also impressive. Clear lines, restrained design and an open construction invite you to let your gaze wander. A new chapter Wish became reality. From dream to reality. Another dimension was added to the Weisses Kreuz 2022 with great care and attention to detail. For the best views and an infinite feeling of freedom. For an exclusive space full of stimulating culinary delights. The already existing spa area, a gem called "Aura Mea", was supplemented by a 20 meter infinity outdoor pool. The indoor pool was transformed into a light-flooded conservatory with living room flair. A bright fitness and yoga room complete the new wellness offer. A home of good taste, as well as an architectural masterpiece, is the newly opened fine dining restaurant "Mamesa". A place where everything comes together, which hosts Marc and Mara love. Excellent regional products, first-class wines and Marc's refreshing, modern cuisine. In the multi-course tasting menu, Wagyu beef from our own breeding finds its place alongside French oysters and fermented Vinschger ancient grain. A kitchen that thinks outside the box and yet never loses sight of its own roots.
