Venosta Valley and the holiday villages Castelbello/Kastelbell and Ciardes/Tschars and are still characterized by everyday customs and traditions. In the marble villages, where artists and artisans live and work, old ways are well-preserved, but will continue to be further developed and connected with new ways and trends.

That is why the Sacred Heart fires are set atop of the mountain peaks every third Sunday after Pentecost.

The Castelbello Asparagus Weeks number among the cultural and culinary highlights of Venosta Valley; accompanied by the white wines from the slopes of Monte Sole mountain. An autumnal highlight is the traditional Törggelen during harvest time.
