Köfel is a rock in South Tyrolean dialect. People settled here as early as the 15th century to farm in one of the sunniest spots in the Vinschgau Valley (South Tyrol). We, the Pohl family, have been running this estate for generations since 1786. The agricultural products have changed over the decades and centuries. In addition to viticulture, which we have been practicing since 1970, we cultivate apples, stone fruit and their distillates and white asparagus. Our latest credo is now to provide you, our guests, with one of the most beautiful spots in the Venosta Valley as a vacation home.
