Hiking to the Alt Alm

Welcome to the Alt Alm above Tschars!
The Alt Alm is located on Tomberg in Tschars. South Tyrolean specialities are served to fortify you.

Directions

From the Schartegg car park on the Tomberg, first walk along the forest road towards the Tablander Alm until you reach the turn-off to the Alt Alm after about 20 minutes. Now take hiking trail 18A or the forest road up to the alpine pasture.

The Alt Alm is closed.

Description to arrive at destination

By car, cross the Etsch river bridge at Tschars and continue towards Tomberg. First follow the paved road and then the last section of a wide forest road to the Schartegg car park.
