Three-mountain hut hike at Nörderberg mountain

The three-mountain hut hike to Marzoner Alm, Zirmtal Alm and Tomberger/Alt Alm at the Nörderberg mountain is a very special mountain hut experience.

Directions

From the "Schartegg" parking car park, take trail no. 4 and trail no. 18A to the Tomberger/Alt Alm and on the Zirmtal Alm. Descend on path no. 18 towards "Schweinstall" until Marzoner Alm and the Almenweg trail 9A back to the starting point.

Alternative:

From the"Alte Säge" car park, take the large forest road no. 7 to the Marzoner Alm and on trail no. 18 to the Zirmtal Alm. Return trail no. 18A to the Tomberger/Alt Alm and the Almenweg trail to the Marzoner Alm, continue via trail no. 7 to the starting point.

Alpine hut opening hours
The Marzoner Alm and Alt Alm are already closed. The Zirmtal Alm will remain open until 2 November 2025.

Description to arrive at destination

To the traffic light turn left, pass the Hotel Kesslwirt, over the Adige Bridge towards Tomberg. Follow the paved road to get to a wide forest road that leads directly to the parking area "Schartegg".

Variant:

Castelbello center, right uphill to Montefranco. After the last farms a small road (no pavement) bring you to the to the parking lot " vecchia segheria".
