Latschanderwaalweg No. 3, signpost for Hochgalsaun
You set off from the village square in Kastelbell, walk past the Köfelgut and follow the Latschanderwaalweg 3 eastwards. You then cross Trumsbergerstraße and, after passing the wildlife fence, come to the Kastelbell ‘Sunnenweg’. You now walk uphill through a stand of downy oaks to the ruins of Hochgalsaun Castle. On the eastern side of the castle hill, you descend and rejoin the Waalweg, which takes you back to Kastelbell.
