A year full of sunshine, wind and weather is now being pressed from the grapes grown on the southern slopes of Kastelbell and brought into the cellars during these autumn days. This new wine is just waiting to be tasted! The farm inns and wine taverns serve sausages, dumplings and sauerkraut to go with it. A portion of roasted chestnuts also finds its way onto the table. That’s what Törggelen is all about!
During the Törggelen season, weekly wine tours take place at the Rebhof and the Köfelgut. The programme is complemented by the gourmet walk at the Lehengut, the chestnut grove tours in Tschars, the apple tours in Kastelbell and a tour of the Juval fruit cooperative which is conducted only in German or Italian.
