Thanks to its snow-sure ski resorts, the Vinschgau valley's ski season begins as early as mid-September and continues until May. From 19 September 2026, the Alpin Arena Senales glacier ski resort in the Schnalstal valley welcomes skiers for the first turns of the season, while the Sulden am Ortler/Solda all'Ortles ski resort opens from the end of October with perfectly groomed slopes.
