Path of traditions
Hike from Stelvio to Stilfserbrücke, Gomagoi and back
General description
Stelvio is known far beyond the region for its customs, especially for the Klosn, Pfluagziachn and Scheibenschlagen. The tradition trail leads past numerous traditional sites such as the Weiberbödele (finds from the early Bronze Age).
Route description
From the bus stop (Stilfs village), walk towards the centre of the village and from there take path no. 34 Stilfserbrücke. Shortly before the Stilfserbrücke, follow the signs for no. 13a to Gomagoi. Once in Gomagoi, continue along the main road in direction of the church until you reach the signposts for Stelvio. Continue on hiking trail no. 8, which leads through the forest along the "Trimm-dich-Pfad" towards the sports field and fishing pond. The Stelvio sign before the bridge takes you back to the village. Shortly before the Stelvio main road, turn right beneath the bridge and follow the path past the playground to Stelvio.
Public transport
It is possible to take the 271 bus from Stilfserbrücke and Gomagoi to Stilfs.
