South Tyrol Knight’s Games in Sluderno/Schluderns

Once again next year, Sluderno/Schluderns provides the perfect backdrop for the South Tyrol Knight’s Games. This spectacular exhibition takes place in the historical atmosphere of Churburg Castle, the ruins of Lichtenberg Castle, Fürstenburg Castle and Marienberg Abbey from the 20th to the 22th of August 2021 and keeps audience members on the edge of their seats. This is the largest such event in the Alps. Proud knights face down their opponents. They tear into battle astride adorned horses, lances flying and armour clanking. The noble lords choose the winner. Roman chariots race around the track: the crowd cheers and marvel at all the exotic and fascinating sights.
