The Eigh Summit March

The Eight Summit March is a high-altitude extreme tour that leads from the medieval town of Glorenza/Glurns in the valley all the way up to the Stelvio Pass. The idea for this march originated with the local priest of Glorenza, and so the march begins with a Holy Mass being said at 3 o’clock in the morning. The approximately twelve-hour tour is recommended only for avid mountaineers with endurance and stamina. The next March will take place in July/August 2021.
