The Summer comes with numerous walking trails - from the famous 'Waale' to Roman art monuments of worldwide importance and botanic treasures at the 'Sonnenberg', through the beautiful forests of the 'Schattenhang' …..
Apart from this, there are day trips to nearby Switzerland, to the Stilfserjoch, the triangle or the foot of the 'König Ortler'. Each day brings something new !
During the Winter, the most beautiful skiing areas are just a stone's throw away: Watles, Schöneben, Sulden, Trafoi, Nauders, Langtaufers. You might be a ski fan, you might prefer the trails or even sledging - or simply enjoy having snow under your feet. Here in silent Winterwald you are in the right place !
