The newly-constructed climbing park in Trafoi mountain village promises plenty of fun and adventures for young and old alike. At the heart of Stilfserjoch National Park, in the shadow of King Ortler and the stunning mountain scenery, visitors of all ages can familiarise themselves with rope techniques, sure-footedness and the proper approach to climbing. This family-friendly climbing park is classed as an entry-level via ferrata. For beginners and all those looking to work on their climbing technique, it’s the perfect place to explore the thrill of climbing as a sport – and it also has a lot to offer somewhat more established climbers. For a real adrenaline kick, try the Flying Fox: as the park’s main highlight, this rope slide soars high above the climbing park and the wild mountain stream.
Those looking for a more leisurely visit can enjoy a walk along the gentle path that crosses the bridge below the village. Finally, ambitious climbers and mountain enthusiasts can explore a whole host of 3,000 m peaks including King Ortler – the highest summit in South Tyrol.

Opening times: open every day in the snow-free season.
Note: visitors must bring their own climbing equipment!
