The house kitchen, which sources its produce from the surrounding area to support farmers in the valley, already has its own tradition. Once a week, on r30 day, every single ingredient comes from within a maximum radius of thirty kilometres. This concept continues beyond culinary delights too: building materials come from the surrounding area wherever possible and are skilfully processed by local craftspeople in a traditional way. The cosmetic products, too, are made from ingredients sourced nearby. And even the staff themselves come almost entirely from within a radius of just 30 kilometres.
