The Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail is an unique experience for passionate hikers. the 108km-long several day tour, which offers a view of the Ortles Group, reaches from the lower Venosta Valley to the Resia Pass at the three-country-border along the diverse vegetation of the sun-drenched mountains. Hikers and nature lovers can enjoy a clear view of the high glaciers.
  
The individual stages of the Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail are also ideal for day trips. They can easily be reached from the Venosta Valley's villages and offer to visitors agricultural and culinary highlights.

Degree of difficulty: for experienced mountain hikers only (good physical condition, safe walking and mountain experience essential)
Best period: April - October (temperatures can be high at the height of summer)
