Irrigation channel path "Frauwaal"

A perfect family hike: Frauwaal trail gently winds its way up from Prad to Lichten-
berg, offering stunning views of Vinschgau valley and one of the largest castle 
grounds in the country.

Directions

Set out from aquaprad visitor centre, walk by the parish church, and cross the bridge opposite the playground. Proceed south on the forest trail, cross the little stream, and continue to the end of the village. Cross the bridge on the right and after a short ascent take path no. 9 out of the valley taking you high above "Agums" to the "Pinethöfe" farms and back down towards Lichtenberg.
To make your return, use trail  no.1, farm track parallel to the country road, on the left at the end of 
the Lichtenberg village.
