At the foot of the National Park from Tschengls to Prad

General description

This leisurely hike is varied with castles, churches and nature experiences.

Route description

From the station in Oris the footpath to Tschengls, with view to Tschenglsburg castle and the higher located ruins of Tschenglsberg castle - also called Hinterburg. At the church over the bridge of the Tschengls stream, go west through the small village, on the trail no. 7, which leads through apricot, apple orchards and meadows to Prato. Cooling and refreshment are available at the basin for water treading in Prad.

From Reschen or Meran to Eyrs.

Parking

The car can be parked at the station parking place.

Public transport

By the Venosta train to Eyrs.
