Snowshoe Hike to Langenstein

Snowshoe hike to the Langenstein mountain station.

This snowshoe hike leads from the Langenstein chairlift valley station to the  mountain station.

Directions

Starting from the valley station of the Langenstein chairlift, trail no. 3 will bring you to the Langenstein mountain station featuring the K2 hut at 2,330 m up. At approx. 3.5 m in length, this winter hike is one of the shortest and easiest in the vicinity of King Ortler. The hiking trail is also accessible all year round.

Description to arrive at destination

From Spondinig/Spondigna via Stilfserjoch pass road SS 38 to Gomagoi, then left to Sulden/Solda. Continue on until the car park at the Kanzel chairlift valley station.
Approx. 20 km to Sulden.

Skiing at the foot of king Ortles
In the two ski areas Sulden and Trafoi, embedded in the breathtaking panorama of 14 three-thousanders, you can expect pure skiing pleasure from October to May. From 3,250 m to 1,900 m the highest of emotions: always in view the giants Ortler, Cevedale Königsspitze and Zebru.
