This route leads from the bus stop in Stilfs/Stelvio, passing Platzhof farm and heading along a forest trail to the Obere Stilfser Alm Alpine farm that towers over Stilfs at an elevation of 2,077 m. Be sure to give yourself a well-earned break at the farm: the view of Ortler mountain from this tranquil setting is truly stunning and a hot flask of tea can work wonders.
