Circular hike to the lowest summit cross in the Schnalstal Valley (2,285 metres)

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian.
The circular hike starts from the hiking starting point in Unser Frau in the direction of Mastaun Alm. After an ascent of around 2.5 hours, you reach the Mastaunpichele with its summit cross (2,285 metres above sea level). From the summit cross, you can not only see the snow fields of the Niederjochferner and Marzellferner in all their splendour, but also the Vernagt reservoir sparkling turquoise blue as you look down into the valley. The descent is via the Lafetz Alm back to the starting point.
Cost: € 10.00 for children aged 10 and over and adults with the Südtirol Guest Pass Vinschgau Valley, € 20.00 for children aged 10 and over and adults without the Südtirol Guest Pass Vinschgau Valley, children under 10 years free of charge
Additional information: moderately difficult hike (recommended from 10 years); walking time: approx. 3-4 hours; 789 m ascent and descent; good basic physical condition, sure-footedness and good footwear required; bring along: Provisions, plenty to drink, sun and rain protection; max. 15 participants
