Red Peak Val Martello

General description

Wonderful hike with view of the fantastic mountain landscape. Start at the parking Genziana in Alta Val Martello and take path no.37 towards Red Peak/Rotspitze di Martello.

Route description

The path takes you through a sparse larch forest and up to a plateau. Turn left to continue on relatively steep stone and debris paths. Go until the junction below the peak and climb the mountain across scree. The last 100 meters of difference in altitude are quite steep but the peak rewards you with a fantastic view.
