Schnalstal Valley
The Carthusian monastery of Allerengelberg was located in Karthaus from 1326 to 1782. It was abandoned under Emperor Joseph II, but the spirit of the monks lives on in the cloisters. During the tour of the monastery, participants are shown the art-historical and architectural features and introduced to the way the Carthusian monks lived and worked.
Duration: approx. 1 hour
Bilingual guided tour (German and Italian)
