BLUES BROTHERS LIVE
Music/dance
Sulden
During the '70s, The Blues Brothers were born from a comedy act by John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd. After the success of their first album 'Briefcase Full Of Blues' and an American tour, the iconic and spectacular comedy film followed, filled with music and special guest appearances. Many a soul and blues legend made their appearance, with brilliant performances by Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin in this film, which became a cult. The hits from the film, Everybody Needs Somebody to Love, Soul Man and Think have never left contemporary play lists.
In the biggest and best Blues Brothers Touring Theatre Production in the world Jake and Elwood are back! An AMPM production starring Brad Henshaw as Jake, the anarchist brothers are turning theatres upside down all over the world. With thundering soul, rhythm & blues, brilliant entertainment, a live band and an unprecedented show, these gentlemen are making a statement. Approved and Licensed by; Dan Aykroyd and Judith Belushi, this production alone has performed on five separate highly successful runs in London's famous 'West End', seven week residency in Chicago and 14 week coast-to-coast tours of the USA. It has travelled the globe since 1995 performing in: Europe, Brazil, Australia, Turkey, Africa, Middle East and Asia. This is the show that started it all continues to be the best Blues Brothers Theatre Production on the planet.
