Solda
Embark on an impressive panoramic drive to the Stelvio Pass, Italy's highest mountain pass (2,758 metres above sea level), and discover breathtaking Alpine landscapes and cultural highlights in the Vinschgau Valley.
Programme schedule:
10:00 a.m. – Departure from the tourist office in Solda
10:20 a.m. – Pick-up at the bus stop in Stelvio
10:30 a.m. – Pick-up at the Gomagoi Tourist Office
11:00 a.m. – Visit to the naturatrafoi National Park House, including a guided tour.
Here you can expect exciting insights into the flora, fauna and geology of the national park.
12:00 p.m. – Continue to the Stelvio Pass
12:30 p.m. – Arrival at the Stelvio Pass
Free time to explore, have lunch or enjoy the impressive high mountain panorama at over 2,700 m.
2:00 p.m. – Continue over the Umbrail Pass to Glorenza, Italy's smallest city.
2:45 p.m. – Independent tour of the historic city of Glorenza.
Discover the completely preserved city walls, the idyllic arcaded streets and the Schluderns gate tower.
Tip: Enjoy a homemade ice cream in the town square, stroll through the historic arcades and soak up the special atmosphere of Italy's smallest city.
4:30 p.m. – Return journey
Look forward to a varied day between high alpine nature, impressive pass roads and cultural highlights in the Vinschgau Valley.
