Resia-Plamort

Nice snowshoe hike from Resia to Plamort

You start from the Resia football pitch located above the village.
Ascent: Shortly after the football pitch, turn right and follow the forest path upward. After 2 bends, turn left to hiking trail no. 1a northward via pleasant clearings further upward with a view to the village. At the elevation of 2,000 m, you cross a path. Continue straight on and in a large right-hand arc to the highest point. Wonderful view of the valley.
Descent: North-westward through a narrow forest aisle down to the Rosshütte mountain hut, trail no. 2a. From there, mainly follow the forest path back to the starting point.
Note: If fog appears, this will cause difficulties with orientation. Plamort is also part of the rampart at the Resia Pass after the First World War. During the winter, parts of this are visible.
