Winter hiking to the Slingia Alpine Hut (Alp Planbell)

General description

Easy winter hike for the whole family from Schlinig to the Schlinigeralm with the possibility of a stop for refreshments. The easy route leads through an idyllic landscape with views of the Sesvenna Pass.

Route description

On the outskirts of Slingia/Schlinig (1,738 m), next to the Nordic ski center, starts the wide winter hiking trail No. 1. He leads over broad snow-covered mountain pastures. Effortlessly reaching after approx. 1 hour the Schlinigeralm Alpine Pasture at 1,868 m, which is open to the public and invites you to stop for a lunch break, to try the regional cuisine of the Upper Venosta Valley.
In winter hikers, along this route, often have the luck to spot wild animals.

Tip: bring the sledge (perfect for kids)
The return is along the same trail.
