In the cultural region of the Venosta Valley in South Tyrol, farmers' markets are quite popular. Farmers offer their natural home-grown products directly for sale at stands in the alterating village farmers’ markets. In summer they are held together with the weekly markets.

At the traditional farmers' market, you will find a wide range of regional products and specialties, including local cheese, bacon and fresh bread, meat from their own production and species-appropriate livestock, as well as jam, vinegar, juices and herbal teas. Many of the products on offer are also organic. In addition to culinary specialties and products from South Tyrol, the farmers' markets in the Venosta Valley also feature traditional crafts and artwork.
