Sledging

Sledging in Val Venosta

Winter Adventures for the Whole Family in Venosta Valley

Sledging is a traditional and popular free-time and community sport in South Tyrol. Having fun on two skids is a winter sport for the whole family, or for groups of friends going on a "sledging party" or for "full moon sledging".

Part of a real sledging party is the ascent by foot and the final stop in a cosy restaurant. The popular activity of full moon sledging is particularly fun. It is a unique experience to descend on fast, bendy and partially-lit slopes all the way down to the valley.

Venosta Valley has well-prepared, safe and child-friendly sledging slopes with an incomparable view of the surrounding snow-covered mountain peaks.
