Young explorers are great observers. With its breathtakingly beautiful and varied natural setting, the Venosta Valley is ideal for adventurous children.

With its pristine natural environment and unique types of flora and fauna, the Stelvio National Park is a natural reserve waiting to be discovered by visitors of all ages. No fewer than four National Park visitors centers house interactive exhibitions showcasing the animal and plant world and the importance of water in the Alps. With hikes during the mating period, lama trekking, fenced-off areas, a petting zoo with small animals and the Vill riding stables, visitors can see how the animals live in the wild.

Churburg Castle is also well worth seeing and during guided tours, junior knights and princesses feel as though they are reliving in a fairy-tale world. The converted Stava/Staben Train Station, where kids can eat and step into the shoes of the train-driver, is another fun-filled family daytrip.
