Archery in the Upper Venosta Valley
With bow and arrow through South Tyrol’s nature
Man has been using the bow and arrow to hunt for at least 14,000 years. Today archery is a popular recreational activity for young and old, where strength, nerves and concentrations are needed in equal measure.
Beginners and pros have two archery ranges at their disposal: Venostarc, above Tarces/Tartsch, and the range in Watles. Families can get acquainted with this versatile sport while surrounded by pristine nature with fantastic views of the mountains. Animals are integrated into the forest landscape to bring variety to the archery course.
