General description
Schmelz Playground is one of the most nature-oriented playgrounds in Prad am Stilfserjoch. Located behind the tennis courts and close to the Solda stream, it offers children an ideal setting for outdoor play and exploration.
Its proximity to the stream's gravel banks gives the playground a unique character. In addition to traditional play equipment, the natural surroundings encourage discovery and imaginative play. Shaded areas and spacious green surroundings make it a favourite destination for families.
Description to arrive at destination
From the SS38 state road, take the exit towards Prad am Stilfserjoch. Drive through the village towards aquaprad, cross the Solda stream bridge and continue to the cemetery and tennis courts. The playground is located behind the tennis facilities.
Parking
Free public parking is available near the village cemetery. From there, the playground can be reached within a short walk.
Public transport
Prad am Stilfserjoch is well connected by the Venosta Valley railway and regional buses. From the village centre, the playground can be reached on foot in approximately 15 minutes.
