General description
Above the sports and leisure center in Silandro, a small but enchanting waterfall awaits you – a true insider tip for nature lovers and those seeking peace and quiet.
Route description
Start your tour at the main square of Silandro and enjoy a leisurely stroll eastward along the pedestrian zone. Passing the historic hospital church, you’ll reach the sports center.
Next to the park with the Kneipp facility, an idyllic path leads you along the Schlandraun river – always with a view of the so calles - disk-flinging hill. Follow hiking trail no. 3 and let yourself be surprised by a truly special nature experience: the waterfall – a small hidden oasis on the otherwise dry monte sole mountain. Perfect for a short break surrounded by nature!

Parking place no. 2 Kapuzinerkirche, no. 3 Stainerplatz, no. 5 Dammlplatz, no. 8 Kulturhaus, no. 10 Andreas-Hofer
Parking place no. 12 Sportzone (3 hours free, 1 € all day)
Public transport
By the Venosta train to Schlanders and then by the Citybus to the stop "Rathaus" or on foot.
