Explore the Matschertal valley on the irrigation channel path Ackerwaal.

Route description

Starting from the mountaineering village Mazia/Matsch, the first mountaineering village in South Tyrol, the village alley leads up to Gonda and to the Ackerwaal irrigation channel path. With the Ortles in the back, the irrigation channel path goes with the signposting n. 11 into the valley gently ascending through a variety of flowering meadows and pastures. The last part of the hike runs along the trail n. 8A and n. 8 to the Glieshöfe farms.
You can take the hiking taxi back to the starting point or walk the same way back to the village.
