From Glorenza to the Glurnser Köpfl

Summit tour with unimagined views of the Vinschgau mountain world and beyond.
Route description
The tour starts at the parish church St. Pankratius in Glurns/ Glorenza on trail no. 24, from there turn immediately to the right towards the Mitterwaal irrigation channel path and then turn onto trail no. 9A. At the small car park, the ascent goes towards St. Martin church to the junction Glurnser Köpfl. Continue on a steep trail through the forest, past the glades “Platzutt” and “Platzmetz” to the Glurnseralm alpine pasture (1,987 m - not open to the public). Follow trail no. 24 for an hour over a steep ridge to the Glurnser Köpfl (2,395 m). Take the same way back to the starting point.
