To the „Gurgl“ gorge

The gorge "Gurgl" is idyllically situated above the marble village Lasa/Laas in the Stelvio National Park. The stream has dug deeply into the rock here resulting in a waterfall of about 20-25 m.

Start at piazza Bagni in Lasa and go eastwards along via Bersaglio. Turn right into vicolo Fabbri and continue slightly upwards until the hiking path that takes you along the Valdaun stream to the "Gurgl" gorge - a waterfall of 20-25 m. Continue uphill on the path with many bends until the Lasa Valley forest road. Follow this road downhill to the little Church of St. Martin and to your starting point.

Please note: Surefootedness and head for heights required for some parts!
