Zehner - Elfer - Zwölfer peak

General description

The hike begins at the Schöneben valley station. From there, take the cable car to the mountain station. Following Trail no. 9b across idyllic alpine meadows, you reach the first of the three peaks - the Zehnerkopf at 2,675 m. Route no. 9b leads somewhat steeper up to the Elfer peak (2,926 m). Alternatively, you can hike straight from path 10 to path 8 + 8b to Zwölfer peak (2,783 m). The summit tour promises a beautiful view of the Lake Resia, the upper Vinschgau valley and the peaks of the Langtauferer valley. The descent leads back via Trail no. 8 and the same time via the last summit, the Zwölfer peak (2,738 m), to the mountain station. After a break in the mountain restaurant, the cable car takes you back down to the valley.
