Route description

The circular hike along the Turnaunawaal irrigation channel path starts at the car park of the parish church of St. Blaise in Taufers im Münsterta/ Tubre in Val Monastero and leads over the Umviasweg trail to the irrigation channel path Turnaunawaalweg no. 8 that once served to irrigate the terrace-shaped fields situated on a debris cone. At the larch/deciduous forest, you can make a small descent to a bowl stone (sacrificial stone) from prehistoric times. Further along the forest trail no. 8A ascending to the trail no. 9B and on to no. 6 and no. 6A westward to the castle ruins Rotund. The descent is via the castle ruins Reichenberg back to the starting point.
