Summit tour with glorious panoramic view

The mountain tour to the Piz Chavalatsch mountain promises a unique panoramic view to the Ortler-Cevedale Group, the mountains of the Swiss Engadine as well as the summits of the Upper and Lower Venosta Valley. Starting at the car park you take trail no. 14 to the junction with 14 B. Following this, you reach Tschiggonhütte hut and then the junction with trail no. 14 A. Proceed above the tree line along to Rifairscharte ridge where you change to trail no. 14. This lead to the summit plateau with plenty of views, with an ascent that is not too steep. For the return route it is recommended to take the route via the Lichtenberg Alm Alpine pasture (continuing on path no. 14).
