Törggelen is a social highlight: people meet in the inns and rustic taverns to enjoy authentic, delicious foods such as barley soup, “schlutzkrapfen” (a kind of ravioli), sauerkraut and dumplings with sausage and smoked meats, pastries, and roasted chestnuts. This feasting is accompanied by young wine. Enjoy your meal!
A Törggele speciality is South Tyrolean home cooking with cabbage, dumplings, smoked meats, sausages, bacon and cheese. For dessert, there are pastries and roasted chestnuts.
