The frozen Lago di Resia/Reschensee Lake and Lago di San Valentino/Haidersee Lake in Upper Val Venosta/Vinschgau are ideal for enjoying the gliding feeling. As one of the most wind-secure places in Europe with a 40 cm thick ice layer, the two lakes provide ideal conditions for snowkiters. While snwokiting you can comfortably cruise through powder snow or try acrobatic jumps. Good kiters jump up to 200 metres far and 30 metres high.
