Val Venosta/Vinschgau offers numerous natural and artificial ice-skating rinks. If you don't want to depend on the weather you can ice-skate in the ice stadium. Here you can also watch regional and international ice-hockey games.
A highlight: ice-skating at Lago di Resia/Reschensee
This is the biggest artificial lake in South Tyrol and is ideal for various winter sports. The ice layer is up to 40 cm thick. It is therefore possible to ice-skate on the lake in winter. Speed skaters can use the natural ice rinks of different lengths. The perfectly groomed natural ice also attracts numerous families for ice-skating. Skates can be rented on-site!
