Winter and Snowshoe Hiking in Upper Venosta Valley

A walk through the winter forest

One of he best ways of experiencing the snowy winter season in the South Tyrol, is by participating in a winter hike or snowshoe tour through the white forests and snow-capped mountains. The winter in the sunny Upper Venosta Valley offers many opportunities for winter hikes and makes for great family excursions, as the numerous snow-bound paths are well maintained and are therefore especially suitable for families.

Winter wanderers and snowshoe hikers will find an almost unlimited number of clearly marked hiking trails and remote paths with panoramic views of the surrounding Alpine peaks of South Tyrol, right across into Switzerland.
